for WaveMaster™ Acoustic Cleaning!
These applications are all examples of the
unique capabilities of WaveMasterTM Acoustic Cleaning.
When
properly applied, large volumes can be cleaned uniformly with one or
two WaveMasterTM Acoustic Cleaners.
The technology is best applied in those areas where the
deposits are dry and dusty, such as convection passes, Ljungstrom
and Rothmuhle air preheaters, tubular air preheaters, and SCR.

The most successful applications of WaveMaster™
Acoustic Cleaning to date have been on regenerative air preheaters.
This is true from the aspects of both cleaning effectiveness and
projected cost savings.
The main advantage of WaveMaster™
Acoustic Cleaning over steam sootblowers on regenerative air
preheaters is that the entire rotor is exposed to a virtually
uniform sound field whenever it is passing through the exhaust gas
stream. Since the cleaning device is in service continuously, ash is
kept in suspension and is prevented from depositing on the heating
elements.
Only one (1) WaveMaster™ Acoustic Cleaner is required.
Low Intensity Acoustic Cleaning where the sootblowers clean and where they
cannot clean, 24/7 (i.e. the entire volume). Cleaning effect typically extends
all the way through the convection pass. Staggered tube arrangement?

The WaveMaster™ Acoustic Cleaner will be used as your primary
cleaning solutions, while the existing sootblowers will be used in a
remedial role on an 'as needed' basis.
The largest boilers in the world only have two (2) WaveMaster™ Acoustic Cleaners
to clean the entire convection pass!
